It
is impossible to instill the desire to find a new way of
life, but once that desire is found anything is
possible!
Serenity Complex is Crossroads Mission’s transitional
housing program. It has been in existence continuously
since 1986. The living center for men is open to any
who holds a job but needs assistance with transitioning
to the community after participating in a program or
being released from jail or prison.
The goal of this program is to provide services to men
who need to further their drug and alcohol recovery
process in a supervised and structured atmosphere. This
is accomplished in part by providing an environment that
is free of alcohol and other drugs. The participants are
required to perform certain household chores, attend
12-step meetings, remain gainfully employed, pay program
fees, and become productive members of the community.

Serenity
Complex is not a treatment facility. We provide
transitional housing to men who are already in the
process of recovery from addiction or other issues of
life that may require help in acquiring skills for
success. We take referrals from Yuma Regional Medical
Center, Yuma County Adult Probation, the police
department, and other local and State agencies.
Serenity Complex could not survive without the help of
those willing to share our vision and responsibility.
Organizations such as Yuma Community Food Bank, FEMA,
Arizona Department of Commerce, DES, State of Arizona,
and the City of Yuma, all provide ongoing help with much
needed food and financial support. Each year a number of
local businesses and individuals also provide us with
contributions which helps insure that we are able to
continue our program in the future - Thank you!
